Ears and a mouth

Love this quote from Mary Kay Ash!
"God gave us two ears and only one mouth, so we should listen twice as much as we speak. When you listen, the benefit is twofold: You receive necessary information, and you make the other person feel important."

Every time I am afraid to approach someone who I don't know, I need to remember that it is not about me! Maybe that person really needs someone to just be there and listen, give them the opportunity to feel important and wanted! THIS is true leadership.
